Another great spot to read this book. Having a ton of family here & a husband who‘s a “local boy” means spending time at gems like this. Cruise ship and hotel tourists don‘t frequent these places. My daughter and I spent hours here and only had a few locals sharing it with us. #islandlife

The characters in this book kind of drove me nuts, but I‘m glad I finished it. It‘s part King Lear and part sea monsters, and is set on an island that sometimes belongs to Canada and sometimes to the US. It has a very unique sense of place.
