Finished up this read for #HistoryofLOTR & I am sorry to say that I did not enjoy this one very much. I've enjoyed the Histories, but this is not one of my favorites.

JazzFeathers The Notion Club Papers are hard and slow going, but tge end of the History of the Lord of the Rings and the evolution of tge story of Numenor were fantastic, in my opinion 😍 4y

No worries ladies, I found the answer! Looks like what is in the end of The End of The Third Age is also in the beginning of Sauron Defeated...just separated out when it was republished as The History of LOTR and sold separately.

The Return of the Shadow | Christopher Tolkien

For those of you planning ahead, we‘ll be finishing up The History of the Hobbit in late March, and after a short break continuing on with the histories of LOTR. So plan on The Return of the Shadow starting in April, put in your library loans, books requests, etc 😉
