So I chose to read this book purely by cover and title for a fun easy-breezy million-dollar-pool-in-the-Hampton‘s read. I mean, isn‘t the Hampton‘s #Paradise!?

Am I a better person for having read this book? Absolutely not. But that wasn‘t the point!

This was an intriguing homage to its namesake and I was interested in the character development of the players. I‘m giving this a pick that is precariously close to a so-so because
1. HIPPA rules, y‘all.
2. Trisha was a bit wonky for how well-educated and cultured she should be.
3. It was unnecessarily repetitive in parts

Cinfhen I‘m still not sure how I feel about ALL of these retellings but I do think it‘s a clever way to introduce classics to a new generation of readers 5y

marleed @Cinfhen oh I agree. Whenever I was thinking Trisha was wonky I considered the restraints and challenges of the author to shape modern day characters in an homage to the Bennett‘s. It‘s fun to read the effort. 5y
