#BooksAcrossOceans #day18 #BookishWaves This is a beautiful Australian novel about Ben & Grace Walker, twins growing up in a coastal town in Victoria. Their father is a famous surfboard maker & both Ben & Grace surf competitively, but Ben is a rising star with sponsorships & about to join the pro tours when tragedy happens & Grace is left to cope with her grief alone. Her parents fall apart & her best friend, who was in love with Ben,is a mess too.5⭐️

Interestingly, none of these covers feature actual waves, and yet there is the word waves in all of these titles. #bookishwaves #booksacrossoceans

#BooksAcrossOceans #catchup

Any books I have with pretty #EndPages are packed up back in the States. I do, however, have this one ☝️book with decorated end pages. ?

Wasn't sure where to go w/the #BookishWaves ? ? prompt. Then discovered this super cool sculpture online. It is called the Great Wave, and was designed by Artist Guy Laramee. The Pinterest blurb said "dedicated to 'the mysterious forces thanks to which we can traverse ordeals'."
