pickOh my. I had never read this. Of all the books about the holocaust and the horrors of the concentration camps, I think this is the most brutal one I have read. Only 109 pages but so much horror and awfulness. Definitely Required Reading. Read this for #booked2019 #NightOrientedTitle and #mmdchallenge #BookPublishedBeforeYouWereBorn and I am glad that I did.
ravenlee It‘s an amazing read, but definitely not an easy one. I read it in high school and had a visceral reaction, reading it alone late at night. 5y

Cinfhen This is the one book that gets me EVERY TIME💔 It‘s so heartbreaking in its simplistic form. Elie Wiesel doesn‘t rely on adjectives or metaphors but rather the harsh reality of what he saw and endured and the shock that men were responsible for this horror. #NeverAgain 5y
