Our city‘s Big Read book for this year; I am glad that our book club selected and decided to participate. The person who suggested it told us she is looking forward to our thoughts and this has me intrigued that she has THOUGHTS — I am eager to discuss. I liked this; giving it a pick. Heard say that this might not be the author‘s best work so I guess I am impressed enough to try more of her stories.

I laughed at times, and I cried at the end. I appreciated that explanations were deftly unrolled as the tangled histories were discovered. This book was what I needed right now. #Apr2025 Book37
