For Anne, Gilbert's comments about her hair are clearly #AMatterofHonor. I love their relationship and how it grows! 😊

I came across this passage from The Naval Treaty tonight that happens to contain a few words that work for #StarTrekSummerMay so I thought I‘d share #AMatterofHonor, #Conspiracy & #TheEnemy

Megabooks Wow! This is perfect! 👍🏻👍🏻🖖🏻 5mo

“I do not aim with my hand; he who aims with his hand has forgotten the face of his father.
I aim with my eye.

I do not shoot with my hand; he who shoots with his hand has forgotten the face of his father.
I shoot with my mind.

I do not kill with my gun; he who kills with his gun has forgotten the face of his father.
I kill with my heart.”

Megabooks What a quote! And beautiful graphic, as well. 5mo

@Megabooks continues to pick some of my favorite ST:TNG episodes. A Matter of Honor has it all, action, conflict and lots of humor. I like the scene of Riker taste testing Klingon "delicacies"

Megabooks Mmm...serpent worms, yum!! I love this episode, too. Another Captain Riker one! (edited) 5mo

#AMatterofHonor TNG 2.08, Riker temporarily transfers to IKS Pagh. The Enterprise gets its first Benzite, the Pagh gets space fungus and Riker a black eye and a promotion. The epi features the first believable Klingon woman and introduces us to gagh!

Donald Fyson‘s study Magistrates, Police and People speaks a lot of personal (masculine) honor in Québec and Lower Canada in the British colonial period. Duels and stuff.

Megabooks Nice re: the computer! And re: the book, duels are very appropriate for this episode. Klingons are always ready to fight! 5mo
tournevis @Megabooks Klingons and, turns out, early 19th century Anglo-Canadians. A lot. 5mo

It‘s #AMatterofHonor to be respectful of the Kim dynasty in North Korea. This book May be 11 years old, but it has stood the test of time well. I highly recommend it to anyone that is interested in #nonfiction about defectors.

Can I say how awesome it was to find Star Trek:TNG view-master slides?! Plus I love all the crazy Klingon cuisine in this episode. Gagh anyone?? I‘ve heard the Tibius claw is nice!

8little_paws Those slides are awesome :) 5mo
Megabooks @8little_paws I loved my view-master! 5mo
