Mehso-so

A decent thriller, but the main character is kind of flighty and made so many stupid decisions after the accident. Because she‘s so dumb, the story isn‘t believable and it feels like the author was trying too hard. The final twist was a good one and put some of the main characters behavior into perspective, but the author didn‘t need to make her seem so aloof. Book #72 in 2023

Book #72
3/5
Page's memoir deals almost exclusively with sexual/gender related experiences and identity. There are also a lot of references to Halifax, NS, which this Bluenoser personally found enjoyable to listen to. I always recommend the audiobook when reading an autobiography. And as always, this one I borrowed from the Halifax library.

A coming of age story told by 30 year old Percy that recounts meeting Sam when they were just 13. Almost a YA book, I wouldn‘t designate it as such due to described sexual tension and a couple sex scenes. I was unsure about Percy because she almost comes off as whiny and needy, almost. I‘d have loved a few chapters from Sam‘a point of view. Book #72 in 2022

Read these back to back on vacation. Super excited for the third one (that isnt out until February!!) So that I can finish the series.
This needs to be a three season TV show.

limada Ah, yes. But, as a collector, I need it in Trade Paperback format to match the other two. 😉 2y

More than halfway through the #MermaidMarathonReads and finished with all the audiobooks I planned to read. This one was swashbuckingly good fun!! 🏴‍☠️ ⚔️ A great prequel to the Peter Pan story and narrated by Jim Dale, one of my favorite narrators. #72 #BookSpinBingo #2 #BFC22 #ReadMyRoom #BOOKED2022 #Pantone2022 #MermaidMarathonReads

tpixie I‘ve been wanting to read this since it came out! I also love Jim Dale! He was so awesome with the Harry Potter series! 2y
Allylu @tpixie Jim Dale is the reason I listened to this! I listened to all the Harry Potter books he narrated (some on cassette tapes!). I would listen to him read the phone book! 😊📚💕 2y

I LOVE TJR and was sucked in immediately. Trying to measure or quantify grief is impossible, everybody experiences it differently. While full of grieving, this was a cute story with plenty of depth. Book #72 in 2021

21 #72 This book. I didn‘t want to like it because I hate time travel stuff. It‘s too deep for me, typically. My mind can‘t wrap itself around it. But I loved this book. It was well written. I learned a lot about Irish history. Likable characters. And I was smiling at the end. Winner!

This is the 10th in this series, and figure 10 is enough for me. Great stories, but each is repetitive in it's own way.
Time to get onto some other mystery/thriller books
