Pickpick

Colleen Hoover manages to hook me in so quickly into every book I've read so far by her.

If you haven't read anything buy Collen Hoover you are MISSING out. Have you read anything by her? Which books? Thoughts?

britt_brooke I just love her. Like you said, she hooks me right away and I just have to know what happens. Always page-turners. I‘ve read several now, but not sure I have a favorite. They are consistently good. Looking forward to her new one which comes out (I think) in a couple of weeks! 3y
aperfectmjk Verity is my favorite, but it's so different from all her others. I do like her writing though. 3y
mavey The first lines in her books are always great! All Your Perfects is my favorite! 3y

This book had me hooked pretty quickly and I found myself kept needing to keep reading and finding out more about each character and wanting to know what was going to happen next.

H_SQUARED So much better than the tv series, in my opinion. I absolutely love Kerry Washington, but she didn‘t have the energy I was picturing for that role. 3y

I was so thrilled with this book and what Suzanne Collins did with it and President Snow's story.

Have you read it? What did you think? No spoilers though please for those who may not have read it yet.

TheNeverendingTBR Lovely shot! 👌 I'm really looking forward to re-reading The Hunger Games trilogy, it's been along time since I read them and I'll throw this book in at the end! 💫 3y

Better late than never--October 2020 reads! A fairly short month, but still read some great ones. My favorite was the long-awaited One By One. The group-goes-on-vacation-then-people-start-dying trope is in right now and I love it! My least favorite was The Haunting of Hill House. This one wasn't that great for me until the huge plot twist ending. #october2020 #octoberreads #2020reads #monthlyreading #monthlyreads #goodreads #goodreadschallenge2020

September 2020 reads (a little late!). All of these were great in their own way, but my favorite was a three-way tie between The Silent Patient, One to Watch, and The Southern Book Club's Guide to Slaying Vampires!

My #augustreads for 2020! Home Before Dark was my favorite this month and Arsenic and Austen was my least favorite. I really wanted to like Arsenic and Austen, but the author must have a clear dislike of overweight people because all of the main characters had very clear prejudices against them. It just really put me off and I didn't enjoy the book much afterwards. #2020reads #august2020 #summerreads #myreads #monthlywrapup #bookreview

Not sure what happened... maybe books that weren‘t YA took my attention. I enjoyed this diverse range of genres and age groups. #readingstats #2020reads #grchallenge
