This word is super cool because it has so many meanings, and what isn‘t mentioned in the Google definition is that it also means “not straightforward” or even “underhanded, disingenuous…”
I read it yesterday and loved the way it was used in the book (Shark Heart), about the main character not loving “obliquely…” Or something like that 😂 Anyway, enjoy!
