Because Christmas books don‘t always have to be like a Hallmark movie 🎄🍪

I bailed on the book. It was a little meh to me.
The recipes look good though.

My Christmas read. With a Persephone photo bomb.
I have so many pretty bookmarks but I‘m using a grocery list. 😐

WarpedSweetness Same here. I'm actually using a clean diaper at the moment. Lol 6y

1) I just tried these time cookies for the first time at a party- waffle cone texture, anise flavor. So good!!
2) Hosting forces me to get my house in order. Traveling is easier.
3) 58 so far, hope to hit 60.
4) Love them both
5) Teleportation, so I don't have to deal with my commute 😝

readinginthedark Yes, I get #2! Everyone complains to me about traveling, but I would rather not have a hundred people in my house! 6y

Mehso-so

The best part of this book was the recipes at the end. This story was very dry and barely interesting. I only finished it because it‘s Christmas book and I felt compelled to read at least one Christmas book this holiday season.

Reviewsbylola What a bummer. 6y
MaleficentBookDragon I feel the same way. I just bailed. 6y

I decided to try a Christmas book this year and so far this is just ok. At least it‘s a quick read and one of the things I like about cozy mysteries. #redbooks #view #setinwinter #jingleshelves #seasonsreadings2017 #decktheshelves
