I'm an outlier but 250 pages of Talking It Out was a bit much for me.

Finished the tagged book while I waited in line for the Sainte-Chapelle security screening. I thought it was gonna be delightful, but it ended up being more heartwrenching with a SIDE of delight. What a great story about learning how to treat people right and accept that you deserve good treatment, too.
And OOF, the CHAPEL. I haven‘t taken tons of photos in Paris because I‘m too busy doing stuff, but I took a ton in here.
So, I didn‘t sleep on the plane, then I walked all the way to Le Marais, toured the Museé Carnavalet, and walked back. That only left me time for 15% of YIELD UNDER GREAT PERSUASION before I passed out, but that 15% makes me think this is gonna be DELIGHTFUL. I shall make up the time tonight, alongside my excellent (and cheap!) baguette sandwich and the second cheapest wine my new favourite grocery store had. It‘s actually pretty good.
Finished in Sept & I still think about this book often. I've actually been talking myself out of a reread just cause I have so many library holds to read! Rowland was definitely my author of the year, their characters are so vibrant. I adore little goblin Tam & the journey of healing he embarks on. The world-building is intricate, I want to live under the seven gods system. This book just gives so many feels; it made me giddy & also want to cry

This is me being SUPER EXCITED to dive into @peanutnine ‘s #AuldLangSpine list. I‘ve already read and loved #s 1, 3, 6, 8, and 11, and I‘ve either requested the others or added them to my library list, depending on their current availability. Alas, my library doesn‘t own #s 12, 17, or 20, so I‘ve wishlisted them on Kobo in the hope of Boxing Day sales.
