Well my sister and I wanted an unhinged read for our weekend and we sure got it 😅 definitely made us laugh a lot though!

An absolute riot of a story. A few of us joked at Bookclub this week after we heard about a book with a door as the main love interest. It was, well it was what you would expect from a paranormal door turns to man when his door knob is, um desecrated, boom. Greek mythology (that‘s really stretching it) with a strange twist. Book #30 in 2025

Door smut. Well, I've given it a try.

Paranormal romance novella, 69 pages, in which her front door is in love with her and turns into a man to protect her against the villain.

I might have rated it higher if it wasn't for the female narrator who sounded much too peppy, especially during the 🌶️ scenes.

I'm not sure how I feel about the fact that door smut exists but regardless, it does, it's here and it's been getting some buzz.

I thought the personality of the door was quite entertaining. The overall plot was as you'd expect for a book like this, full of plot holes and eye rolls.

Will I be boarding the door smut hype train? Nope but no judgement here, I'm not here to yuck anyone's yum.

This isn‘t from the book, per se. It‘s from the closing credits. Totally recommend the audiobook. If for nothing else, than for Richard Pendragon‘s door! Tell Door Pendragon that he‘s a “good door”… by listening to him in this audiobook. 💀💀💀

5 squeaky doors for this book. This is 100% an instagram made me do it situation. I saw multiple funny posts about this one and finally gave in. It was hilarious, but it also made you actually feel for the characters and inhale the plot (yes, it‘s got a well thought out plot). I wouldn‘t mind a sequel with this couple to see how they‘re getting on a few years down the line.
