Sally Gardner is my all time favorite author and once again she stuns me with this gem of literature. It‘s honestly a little confusing at first but the detail in the end is magnificent and I would recommend to anybody who likes books about fictional war and so called “higher powers” controlling the lower class men. It‘s kind of like the hunger games without the games just the screwed up upper class. #sallygardner #maggotmoon

I studied this book for my children's lit class so couldn't resist this slipcased edition for my collection. #bookmail
