Travelling through the bookshops of North England for a few days, so I'm going to "taste" a lot of books and might finish the books in the picture above.

A really good fantasy book that‘s filled with humour but deals with a very real issue too. I was hooked by this and thought the premise was just brilliant.

I wrestled and struggled with this historical fiction fantasy. The premise was promising. The Knights of the Round Table were given immortality by Merlin and live under their own tree to be brought back when Britain is in peril. The peril here is global warming, but there are mentions of others throughout history. While the knights and their contemporaries are essential characters, Mariam, a young rebel fighting against power mongers, really 🔻
