I just made a Instagram reel sharing my book haul from Stuff Your Kindle day. I downloaded over 100 free ebooks from this event.

Today is Stuff Your Kindle Day. If you like romance, today is your lucky day because a lot of the books are free and there are so many different romance sub genres. I decided to take advantage of this. I didn‘t even download books from all of the sub genres because it‘s a lot to look at. It goes on for days. I just thought I would share this.

Audible is having a sale right now on their website so if you have any books on your TBR that you want to listen to on Audible then take advantage of this sale. I just bought some audiobooks on there. I have a lot of audiobooks on my Audible library so I don‘t need more but I like buying books when they‘re on sale.
The last 2 pages of my May #bookhaul in the Novelly Yours reading journal
I found a bunch of free clean romance books over the weekend and I took advantage of this. I purchased a lot of them on Barnes & Noble and Amazon. If I didn‘t purchase any then I just added them to a To Be Read list on Amazon or a Kindle Unlimited TBR list on Amazon. I don‘t always want to read erotic romance so I like having the option of reading clean romance.
Here‘s the rest of my April Book Haul that I wrote down in my Novelly Yours reading journal. The 2 book haul pages only have room for 22 books which is a problem for me because I tend to buy a lot of books. I couldn‘t fit all of them on to the 2 book haul pages in my reading journal so I had to use the 3 blank pages at the back.

I found some more free audiobooks I wanted from Chirp Books so I bought 20 of them.
I decided to preorder some more audiobooks during the Barnes & Noble preorder sale since it‘s ending on April 25. I found some more books that I wanted. I‘ve preordered digital books from them before and I‘ve also preordered physical books from them too. When I‘ve preordered physical books, they arrive a week after they‘re released but digital books become available on my device on release day so I like that.
I just found out that Barnes & Noble is having a preorder sale. I‘m not a premium member but I am a rewards member so I preordered 2 audiobooks.
Wow. I just bought these 6 audiobooks from Chirp and look how much money I saved. This is a good deal for all of these audiobooks. I can‘t believe I only paid $10.74 for all of these audiobooks.
Here‘s what I bought from the Libro FM sale. I wonder how much money The Book Attic will get from this purchase. I paid $17.45 for all of these audiobooks. I saved a lot of money. My subtotal was $24.95. I got a discount of $7.50 and I ended up paying $17.45. I think that‘s a good deal. I don‘t want to pay more for audiobooks if I don‘t have to. Paying $20, $30 or $50 for audiobooks is ridiculous. I‘m glad I found out about this sale.
I just went on Libro FM‘s website and I saw that they‘re having a sale so I bought some audiobooks. The Book Attic is the indie bookstore I‘m supporting so I got 5 audiobooks for $17.45. I didn‘t believe it at first because normally, the audiobooks cost a lot more on Libro FM and I don‘t usually want to buy them when they cost a lot but there was a discount on them so I got them for a good deal.
I was on Instagram today and I saw an advertisement for this online shop called Kitty Town Coffee so I decided to order a 3 pack of sample size coffee from them. I like that they said that proceeds from online sales help feed cats in shelters. I feel good about that.
This is the last of my March #bookhaul from my Novelly Yours reading journal.
March #bookhaul. I didn‘t have enough room in my Novelly Yours reading journal to write down the rest of my book haul because there‘s only 2 pages for a book haul so I figured out that at the back of each month, it has blank pages and you can write down whatever you want back there so I used the blank pages to write down the rest of my book haul.
Here‘s my March #bookhaul. I‘m using the Novelly Yours reading journal.
I bought 2 free audiobooks from Chirp just so I can try them out. I already have a Chirp account but I‘ve never bought audiobooks from them before. I like the idea of saving money on audiobooks so I‘m all for that. I chose The Tumor by John Grisham and Finding Faith by B.E. Baker. I‘ve never read either of these authors.
Bookshop is having a 20% off sale on Spring books. It excludes ebooks. It ends on Monday.
Bookshop just sent me this email this morning. I only bought 2 ebooks from them so I don‘t have that many ebooks from them yet. It‘s $10 for 1 ebook but since I bought 2 ebooks, I ended up spending $20. I feel good about this.
I decided to sign up for a Libro fm membership and I changed my Audible membership from a Premium Plus membership to a Standard membership. I was paying $16 a month for Premium Plus and I wasn‘t listening to the audiobooks from the Plus catalog. This should help me save some money. I used the promo code SWITCH when I signed up for Libro fm and they gave me 3 credits for free. I bought 2 audiobooks with my credits already. I have 1 credit left.
I entered in my email address on Chirp and they told me that I already have an account with them. I forgot that I made an account. I haven‘t bought any audiobooks on Chirp.
Here‘s another website where you can buy audiobooks. It‘s called Chirp and this is what the website says. I‘ve never used it but I like that this isn‘t a subscription service. Everything is a subscription service now but this isn‘t. I‘m tempted to subscribe to Libro fm though because I looked at the cost of one audiobook from Libro fm just to buy and it‘s $20.99 so it seems like I would save money on audiobooks by subscribing to their service.
I just found out about this website where you can buy physical books. I was reading their website and this is some of the information I found out about it. I‘ve never shopped with them before. I don‘t need to buy more physical books because I‘m running out of space but this website sounds really good.
I just made a Libro Fm account. I chose another independent bookstore to support in my area but I haven‘t signed up for a membership. I was reading their website and they said you can sign up for a membership, buy credits without a membership or buy audiobooks a la carte. I like that. I don‘t want to sign up for a membership so I think a la carte purchases would work better for me just to see if I like Libro fm or not.
I just looked at Libro FM and it sounds really good. It supports independent bookstores and I like that. I currently pay $14.95 a month for Audible and Libro FM is $14.99 a month so it‘s about the same price. I use Kindle Unlimited and I like the read & listen for free books because I can get the audiobook from Audible and it doesn‘t cost me anything. I also like the Audible Originals so I‘m not leaving Audible.
I‘ve decided to buy some ebooks from www.bookshop.org because after Amazon said that you‘re just purchasing a license to read their ebooks, I don‘t feel comfortable buying ebooks and audiobooks from them anymore but now, I feel better about buying ebooks knowing that it‘s helping a local independent bookstore that I‘ve chosen. Libro FM also supports independent bookstores. I love Audible but maybe eventually, I‘ll switch to Libro FM.
I had to buy some books I had as Netgalley ARCs. I had to buy the Brandon Sanderson book for the book club that I‘m in and I had to find the audiobooks for The Realm Of The Elderlings because I‘m going to be participating in a readalong for that series this month. The Realm Of The Elderlings is divided up into trilogies. I‘ve never read Robin Hobb. The last 2 fantasy series I read were A Song Of Ice And Fire and Lord Of The Rings.

I‘m sharing my December Book Haul using my reading journal from Novelly Yours.
#bookhaul
I‘m using my reading journal from Novelly Yours to share this grid that shares my books of the year by books acquired so it looks like for the entire year, I acquired 338 books. I can see looking at this grid the months where I acquired a lot of books and months when I didn‘t acquire as much.
I was on Facebook and I just saw this post. I think it‘s a great idea. I don‘t understand the Witcher reference because I haven‘t read the books or watched the TV show. What is the feathered dinosaur a reference to? Is it also something from the Witcher?
I just saw that Book Outlet is having a Black Friday Sale right now. It looks like I might need to buy some new books. My goal is to read my physical TBR before adding more books to it but I deserve some new books. It‘s a good deal.
Here‘s my September Book Haul. I‘m using my reading tracker to show my books that I acquired. This is the next page of the book haul section in the reading tracker. I didn‘t have room to list the 44 Hayhouse audiobooks I got on Spotify.

I ordered from 3 websites and I‘m excited. I ordered 2 necklaces from Taylor Bradshaw, preordered a 2025 reading tracker and 2 pairs of earrings from the Linkin Park merch store. I ordered an LP necklace with their logo on it a long time ago but I wanted some earrings to match my necklace. I probably didn‘t need 2 more necklaces or 2 more pairs of earrings but I wanted them. Life is boring when I don‘t have online orders to look forward to.
I was just talking about overconsumption of books and I just saw this on my phone. Do I need to buy more books? No but I can earn more points if I buy books. Every time my mom is channel surfing and we land on the shopping channel, I tell her in a joking way,”You need to buy something new.” And she says,”No, I don‘t. I‘m going to be good.” My mom likes to buy kitchen stuff or vacuum cleaners but we have enough of that stuff. We don‘t need more.
I was scrolling through TikTok last night and I saw someone I follow talking about overconsumption of books which inspired me to look up this article about overconsumption. It‘s making me think. Do I have a problem with overconsumption? I probably do but I‘m trying to stop. I probably have more stuff than I need. I like buying stuff and books but am I using what I‘m buying?

Audible has a sale going on right now for their audiobooks. All audiobooks are 85% off.
Here‘s the ebooks I bought during Amazon‘s Book Sale May 15-20. I own physical copies of the 2 Chicken Soup For The Soul books and a physical copy of Resurrecting Easter. The other book is by a new to me author. I‘ve never read any books by her. My Amazon Alexa app can read the other books to me. Resurrecting Easter has pictures in it. I don‘t know if I‘ll be able to look at the pictures while listening to the book.
Amazon is having a book sale. I just found out about it.
Today, I‘m sharing the books I got this month.
Photos 1 & 2: I received Listen For The Lie & Puppy Brain in the mail from Celadon Books.
Photos 3 & 4: I preordered these 2 books from Barnes & Noble in 2023.

Today, I‘m sharing my February Haul.
Photo 1 - I bought 2 bookish candles from Frostbeard Studio. They smell really good.
Photo 2 - Preordered from B&N. This is the sequel to the first book. I haven‘t read the first book yet.
Photo 3 - I ordered this beanie from www.taylorbradshawmusic.com and it came with these 2 bags of Evergreen Tea. One day when it was really cold outside, I wore this beanie and it was really soft.
I decided to fill in my new reading tracker and there‘s a page for writing down books you got during a book haul. The 2 books I bought were preordered in 2023 but I received them this month. I added up the prices of the two books I preordered but I didn‘t count the one that was sent to me. For 2 books, it added up to $43.57 when I used a calculator to calculate the two prices.
