so-soA coworker wanted to recommend my next book and this is what he chose. He and I don‘t typically read the same genres but I agreed I would give it a try. It is definitely not something I would have picked on my own. I didn‘t hate it and it did keep me interested to the end. So overall not a bad suggestion 😊

panI decided to read this book because every booktuber that I watch touted it as the best love story ever. I‘m starting to wonder if they were paid. The love story is sweet at first but it was toxic by the end. Nothing was solved. A relationship with a person that is mentally unstable and isn‘t taking the meds is never a good idea. The female protagonist was so unlikeable. Pretty writing but not enough to save it for me. ⭐️⭐️ 2/5
so-soIt started well but personally I‘m just started to get abit bored 😐 agree with other reviewers who said in places the writing is fragmented , a 3.5/4 star ⭐️ read for me , maybe the problem was reading it so soon after tomorrow tomorrow and tomorrow which I loved 🥰

Ok this book was exhausting and it didn‘t let up. Exactly how I imagine living with bipolar disorder and Autism would be. The constant inner dialogue that both of these characters deal with every minute of the day is portrayed perfectly and makes this story so powerful, but not an easy read.

Alone with you in the Ether was my favorite and might go down as favorite of the year and my least favorite was Promises and Pomegranates which I gave 3.5 stars so still not bad.

It took me a while, despite it being such a short book - the beautiful writing and complex characters really made me take my time and let each word and sentence sink deeply into me. It's such a lush, gorgeous book! It's nothing like The Atlas Six, but I still really loved it! 💕📚
My fiancé and I have been trying to do more reading rather than tv watching at night. I read about 50 pages last night. Hoping to finish this before the end of the week.
I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about this one, since what I've read so far of Olivie Blake has been dark academia/fantasy, and this is a pretty contemporary story. But! So far, I've fallen completely in love! Blake's writing is just purely delicious! I don't know how else to describe it! 😂 Chaplin is enjoying it so far too! 💕😸 #catsoflitsy #chaplin
Morning plans…I have a LOT of housework to do today, but I‘ve already done some errands out of the house, so I don‘t feel too bad about taking a coffee/musubi/new book break!
Oops…I went to Target yesterday and couldn‘t resist. Now I need to carefully remove those awful stickers!

The Silver Dark Sea
pickIt‘s labeled as a love story or romance, and it is those things, in sort of the same way Sally Rooney‘s novels are (I love Rooney so this is praise from me).
This is a story about two very human humans, dealing with their own differing degrees of damage, coping with mental health issues, and trying to find meaning and joy in the void of life. So beautifully written. I am sad that I will never get to read it for the first time again.
