Between a so-so and a pick. This one finds Jess working as part of the defense team intent on helping her friend escape a murder conviction. Nothing earth-shattering here, but it was a solid cozy. My only real complaint is that the plot felt way too similar to the last one of these I'd read - Martinis and Mayhem. If I'd read these in pub order, I'm sure I'd not have noticed the similarities, though, as there were 12 books between them.
