One Day in August: Ian Fleming, Enigma, and the Deadly Raid on Dieppe | 
I won‘t finish Black Water Lilies tonight, so my slowest reading month of the year ends with 10 finished books and several bails. On the bright side, three were 5 star reads, making it nearly impossible to pick a favorite. I‘ll take quality over quantity, if I can‘t have both. I cleared 6 books from my NetGalley backlog and checked off 4 books from the McIlvanney Prize longlist. #auguststats #augustwrapup
Keeping my #AugustTBR simple. I should receive the ARC of South Central Noir by next week, Do No Harm is a NetGalley ARC that releases next week, and I hope to have Black Water Lilies soon, too. Once I get through those, it‘s over to my Spin the Wheel app to choose books from either my NetGalley backlist or the balance of books for the McIlvanney Prize longlist.

Oh my gosh, what the heck, we're only a week away from AUGUST?!? This summer has been busy but good. The peach harvest has officially started, so we are rolling into my busiest time of year - orchard time!! 😁 I've thoroughly enjoyed seeing what you all have been reading this month & am looking forward to your lists for August!
