The Six of Crows Duology
The Six of Crows Duology: Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom ebook bundle | Leigh Bardugo
6 posts | 8 read | 1 reading | 1 to read
Six dangerous outcasts. One impossible heist. Leigh Bardugo's Six of Crows duology - comprising Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom - is a gripping and memorable fantasy epic, perfect for fans of George R. R. Martin, Laini Taylor, and Holly Black. Read it before you see it! Set in the same world as the stunning Shadow and Bone trilogy, characters in these books will be brought to life on-screen in the Netflix original series, Shadow and Bone, coming soon! Six of Crows Criminal prodigy Kaz Brekker is offered a chance at a deadly heist that could make him rich beyond his wildest dreams - but he can't pull it off alone. A convict with a thirst for revenge. A sharpshooter who can't walk away from a wager. A runaway with a privileged past. A spy known as the Wraith. A Heartrender using her magic to survive the slums. A thief with a gift for unlikely escapes. Kaz's crew is the only thing that might stand between the world and destruction - if they don't kill each other first. Crooked Kingdom Double-crossed and badly weakened, Kaz's crew is low on resources, allies, and hope. As powerful forces from around the world descend on Ketterdam to root out the secrets of the dangerous drug known as Jurda Parem, old rivals and new enemies emerge to challenge Kaz's cunning and test the team's fragile loyalties. A war will be waged on the city's dark and twisting streets - a battle for revenge and redemption that will decide the fate of the Grisha world. Read all the books in the Grishaverse! Other prompts I may need a bit of help with for #pop22

- A book with a board game in its title (come on, Rae, you're a complete board game nerd - surely you got this?! 😆🤣)

- A book with a constellation on the cover or in it's title

- A book set in the 1980's (was thinking about Maupin's Tales of the City series, but that starts in the 70s)

- A book set during a holiday

- A duology (I've already read Strange the Dreamer... Six of Crows??)

merelybookish A book with Risk in the title? Also this is set in the 1989. 2y
Larkken Tagged for a constellation, and We Ride on Sticks was excellent! 2y
Larkken There‘s also Grady Hendrix for the 1980s if you read horror. 2y

RaeLovesToRead @merelybookish @Larkken Thanks for the suggestions! 😊😁 (Written in the stars looks cute.) 2y
DaveGreen7777 One suggestion for the board game prompt… are you by any chance a Nancy Drew fan? Because she had many books with “Clue” in the title! 🕵️‍♀️ 2y
RaeLovesToRead @DaveGreen7777 I used to LOVE Nancy Drew when I was a kid 🥰 In the UK though, it isn't called Clue... it's called Cluedo, hahaha... and no books have Cluedo in the title. I genuinely would love to see if the Nancy Drew books are still good though... 2y
DaveGreen7777 Hee Hee, if you really want to reach for the board game prompt, I just found out there is an author named “Yahtzee”! 😂🤣 2y
RaeLovesToRead @DaveGreen7777 Haha, I'm not sure if that book looks great or terrible... 😆😬 I have so many board games but they don't have books called Viticulture, Biblios, Azul, Dinosaur Island, Catan, Galaxy Truckers, Castles of Mad King Ludwig... think I'm going a bit niche 😁 2y

I pretty much am just going to leave this here. I'm reading The Evolution of Claire and The Last Olympian but whenever I find I want to read something I know and love my mind always drifts back to the Crows so here I am back in Ketterdam, hanging out again with my gang of misfit thieves.
