This is a book for writers; Joani Elliot begins each chapter with a quote from a famous author about writing. That was my favorite part! The characters aren't dynamic; the relationships don't feel authentic. It has unreached potential. 3 stars

Sara has to fulfill her mother's dying wish, write that 5th book in her bestseller series. Sara knows she can't do it. Why would her mother set her such a task?

Sara has to come to terms with her mother's death, decide whether to write the book, and uncovers a family secret.

Loved the inspirational quotes by different authors at the beginning of each chapter.

42% done - enjoying it very much.

This was a good book. I‘d recommend it to any chick lit fans and anyone who loves books about the publishing world. The MC is a total Lifetime Movie character, so if you know what that entails, you get the jist of this book LOL I felt like there were a lot of plots happening and it got a bit much at times, but a solid 3.5 pick 👍🏻

I can‘t remember where I saw this book, but I couldn‘t get it out of my head. I actually ended up asking my library to purchase it AND THEY DID 🙌🏻 Woooo!!
