Nothing about this book felt fully realized. There‘s the outline of quirky lovable characters (and at least one infuriating one) — as well as a love interest with great hair! — but there‘s too much going on and not enough time was spent developing backstories or dialogue.

Sometimes, Meg Cabot‘s books really work for me and sometimes they don‘t. I never know which I‘m going to get. Unfortunately, this time it was the latter.

While I found Jo unnecessarily self involved at times, I quite enjoyed this installment in the Little Bridge Island series. Centered around a book festival, it felt like a warm hug.

This is a pleasant read. A few laugh out loud moments and basically a light feel good read. A solid ⭐️⭐️⭐️ offering.

No Words is my first read by Meg Cabot, as the fact that romance is not really in my wheelhouse, but I'm dipping my toes into it as a palate cleanser. I did not realize that this was the third in a series until now, but it could be read as standalone. I liked the characters and the setting, but it still got all wrapped up into a happy little ending as predicted by a lot of romance books. I might go back and read the other two in the series.

Meg Cabot never fails. I loved the dynamics between all the authors, and the tropes used to get Jo and Will together felt fresh. Really more of a happy beginning than a happy ending! #contemporaryromance #romcom

Fast paced and pretty cute!

This was a silly, forgettable book and could hit readers in just the right feels if they love warm breezes, authors as main characters and book conventions as backdrops but it lacked depth of emotion for me.

Escapist fun with feminist commentary. Some of the female protagonists actions and relationships seemed to mock the intelligence and professionalism displayed in other parts of the story. Thanks to Edelweiss and the publisher for an advance reading copy.
