Some Laneys Died: A Skipping Sideways Thriller
Some Laneys Died: A Skipping Sideways Thriller | Brooke Skipstone
5 posts | 2 read
Laney's world collapsed when she caught her dad cheating. He begged her not to tell, but she did. Her family fell apart and regret consumes her, especially when she learns every decision she makes spawns a new universe for the opposite choice. If only she could skip sideways to the Laney who didn't tell. But her only escape is through her imagination, until a news story blurs the lines between worlds. Two girls were murdered at the same time and same place as her father's adulterous act. Strange events lead Laney to believe their bones are connected to her and the sister she always wanted.Laney now has another decision to make. Some Laneys say yes, while others say no; some live and some die. And some skip between worlds.

The author reached out to me and sent me a print copy of this book and a digital copy of her first one. I‘m so excited! This is one of my favorite books I‘ve read this year so I‘m excited to have a physical copy I can reread ❤️❤️❤️

#JulyRoundUp - Well I did better than I thought I was gonna do, especially since depression kicked my ass for about a week and a half this month. So I‘m pretty happy with this month. This new month brings another LMPBC book to read and I‘m doing book spin/double spin/bingo but I‘m not putting any pressure on myself.

Hope everyone has an awesome start to their August 🌻

Wow this one blew me away. What a turn around from the first couple of chapters. It took a while to hook me but once it did I couldn‘t stop reading. There‘s a lot of confusing science that makes my brain hurt but she talks about it in this book in a way that makes it hurt less. I was thrilled to find out there would be a book 2. Holy man this was amazeballs.

Thanks to #NetGalley

At work missing this little guy. Mr Frank (the professional blepper) was a big cuddle bug this afternoon before I left.

This book I‘m reading started slow but man now it‘s getting weird and creepy. I‘m digging it even if the dialogue between some of the characters is cringey, the plot is sucking me in.
