Fangirl meets Jane Austen in this deeply heartfelt love story about hiding the worst parts of ourselves, and the people who love us anyway. "How could I open that door and let him see the messiest part of me?" From the moment she first learned to read, literary genius Darcy Wells has spent most of her time living in the worlds of her books. There, she can avoid the crushing reality of her mother's hoarding and pretend her life is simply ordinary. But then Asher Fleet, a former teen pilot with an unexpectedly shattered future, walks into the bookstore where she works...and straight into her heart. For the first time in her life, Darcy can't seem to find the right words. Fairy tales are one thing, but real love makes her want to hide behind her carefully constructed ink-and-paper wall. Still, after spending her whole life keeping people out, something about Asher makes Darcy want to open up. But securing her own happily-ever-after will mean she'll need to stop hiding and start living her own truth--even if it's messy. "A lovely tale for bookish readers that will give them all the feels." --Kirkus

I‘ve been slowly unpacking my house but my favorite room to work on is my library, my dogs love the comfy rug and chair I bought. I‘m almost ready to reveal it all hopefully by the end of next week 🥰.

wisherwishinguponastar I think your doggo found the best place to chill! That is a great rug! 2y
AmyG Love the rug! Your sogs seem very happy!!! 2y
Bookgoil @AmyG they‘ve definitely finished adjusting I just think they hate following me around all day while I unpack 🤣 2y
Bookgoil @wisherwishinguponastar I love it and since it‘s technically a kids rug it was cheaper than most I was looking at 🤣 2y

💗💗💗You guys are the only ones who can possibly understand my excitement. BOTM 📚 on the sides non-BOTM in the middle. Ignore the paperbacks on the cart that my husband rolled his eyes at. 👀😊
Our dining room will never be the same. 😂
I told him if I can see all my books, I'll be less likely to buy duplicates. Not sure if that's true but it worked. 🤷🏻‍♀️

smalldogs_bigbooks2419 BOTM means book of the month, right? That‘s the only abbreviation my insomniac brain can come up with right now. 3y
FelinesAndFelonies @smalldogs_bigbooks2419 Haha. Yes. That's correct. 😎 3y
lazydaizee I often buy duplicates too, so annoying when you sit down to read a book only to find you have read it before. 3y

ShelleyBooksie Beautiful shelves! 3y
Amiable I used to have a problem with buying duplicates—then I set up a folder in Goodreads and labeled it “books I already own.” And I tagged every book on my shelves and on my e-reader in that folder. Now when I‘m in the bookstore contemplating a purchase, I check GR to see if I already own it . 3y
Clare-Dragonfly Beautiful! 3y

GloVerdino I‘m so jealous! I have books I haven‘t seen in years because they are buried behind other books! 3y
Laughterhp Looks great! I use the LibraryThing app to track all my owned books! I check it quick when I‘m buying books to see if I have it! 3y
