6 posts | 21 read | 9 to read
From New York Times, USA Today & Wall Street Journal bestselling author J.A. Redmerski, comes a dangerous and boundary-pushing new crime and suspense series, In the Company of Killers.----Reading Order-#1 - KILLING SARAI#2 - REVIVING IZABEL#3 - THE SWAN & THE JACKAL#4 - SEEDS OF INIQUITY - A Prequel (2014)---Sarai
was only fourteen when her mother uprooted her to live in Mexico with a
notorious drug lord. Over time she forgot what it was like to live a
normal life, but she never let go of her hope to escape the compound
where she has been held for the past nine years.Victor is a
cold-blooded assassin who, like Sarai, has known only death and violence
since he was a young boy. When Victor arrives at the compound to
collect details and payment for a hit, Sarai sees him as her only
opportunity for escape. But things don't go as planned and instead of
finding transport back to Tucson, she finds herself free from one
dangerous man and caught in the clutches of another. While on the
run, Victor strays from his primal nature as he succumbs to his
conscience and resolves to help Sarai. As they grow closer, he finds
himself willing to risk everything to keep her alive; even his
relationship with his devoted brother and liaison, Niklas, who now like
everyone else wants Sarai dead.As Victor and Sarai slowly build a
trust, the differences between them seem to lessen, and an unlikely
attraction intensifies. But Victor's brutal skills and experience may
not be enough in the end to save her, as the power she unknowingly holds
over him may ultimately be what gets her killed. This is their story...

Since this book was quite popular on the YouTubes I thought I give it a try. So here are my 2Cents:

I had major issues with the storyline like it was half-baked and half-heartedly. And I believe the most difficult character to deal with was Sarai herself. She is so confusing. Reading it wasn't a struggle on itself but at times it was just nerv wrecking.

⭐⭐⭐ 3/5

Be aware this is a darker romance book, so please use caution while reading.

MidnightBookGirl 1 pt! I don't think I've read any of these, but Killing Sarai looks right up my alley! 4y
maich @MidnightBookGirl It is really dark romance. Crime romance. If you like that you should read it. I'm going to read all other in series this year. 4y

This book is amazing! Left me breathless!
Killing Sarai is a little scary story spoken in dual perspectives. I couldn't put the book down, like literally. It kept me wondering what would happen next and kept surprising me.
Ful review is on Goodreads and on my blog. Link is in my bio!

J.A. Redmerski takes a huge transition in writing this book. Way different to The Edge of Never. It's dark, suspenseful, unpredictable, thrilling and action packed. It blew me away. Killing Sarai is an amazing series starter.
