I have been meaning to read this for a while and I am so glad I finally got around to it!
Sharine really grows in this book and her and Titus make a great couple. And it seems to be setting some background for Illium and Aodhan who are the main characters in the next book :)

I was a little leery picking up the next book in this series, because it takes place outside the normal group of characters. But I‘m glad I did, it picks up in the aftermath of a war and dealing with the fallout that ravages the continent of Africa. It‘s hard to say more without detailing the entire series to date, but if you‘ve enjoyed this world of angels, vampires, and mortals up to this point, it‘s definitely worth a read.

Nalini Singh does it again. The Hummingbird was absolutely perfect and I loved her with Titus. She is revered by angelkind and they see her as a broken symbol. But Titus sees her as she is now, flawed but strong. They have to fight the undead that are running over Africa. The war is over in some ways, yet in others the fight has just begun.

Cuddled up on the couch and starting an ARC of Nalini Singh's next release. ❤️
