This story published in 2012 is a comic series of the lunch lady who saves the day. I liked the read but also found it confusing for myself at the age of 21. I don‘t think I would read again.

Graphic Novel, 2012. This is a series of graphic novels containing grade level humor to foster the enjoyment of reading in children. I like that this is a series because children can have a fun time reading and continue to follow along the stories.

“What's the matter sweet pea?“

I thought that this story involved a lot of collaboration and shows how important the falcity is at the school. Students can look up to teachers, lunch ladies, and principals for guidance and support.

In this graphic novel, the students, lunch lady, and higher ups are faced with a challenge. The school photographer told one student that she could be a model, but she would have to pay $1,000 dollars to get her pictures done. The student took money out of the student council fund to give her and the lady ran off with it afterwards. In order to get it back, the students and lunch lady had to work together.

“ATTACK!”

One thing I found interesting is that throughout the book the illustrations get larger and there is less and less boxes to break up the story.

The illustrations in this book are very cartoonish and only drawn in black and white with splashes of yellow. The font is very cartoonish as well and the story is easy to follow.

“Sorry lost my train of thought. Your zits distracted me.”

Very visual and a spin on super heros. A story about children nervous for picture day which is very relatable. Funny and action packed.

This book was published in 2012. The illustrations are only black, white, and yellow. I find it lacks a lot of color especially being about pictures. It was an okay book lots going on.

“Jealous doesn‘t look good on you”

Acne and school pictures...bad memories 😅😧 However, the BB and lunch ladies knew what to do to stop the bad photographer 👏🏻🎉
