I have this on a shelf in my office at work dubbed as a shame shelf. I pulled it from the library collection because of its age, but also look at the #sadcover ! There is no shame in cooking and eating alone - I do this every day! - but the cover just makes you feel so miserable. Not #uglycovers , but I couldn‘t resist posting.

JanuarieTimewalker13 I love eating alone. There‘s no conversation, so you can really focus on the food😀yum 1mo
Librarybelle @JanuarieTimewalker13 Lots of reading time too! Or, watching a movie you really want to see. There are so many benefits! 😁 1mo
EadieB @Librarybelle They could have used more colors instead of all that drab grey! Doesn‘t look like a cookbook either! 1mo

Librarybelle @EadieB @Andrew65 @Tamra We‘ve since purchased many a cooking for one books that are colorful and vibrant with excellent recipes! 1mo
gradcat I agree, it‘s sort of sad. I eat alone a lot too, so my thought is, why not put a body in that chair? 🤷🏽‍♀️ 1mo
EadieB @gradcat A happy smiling face in the chair would help a lot! @Librarybelle 1mo
Librarybelle @gradcat @EadieB Yes, a smiling face would help a lot! 1mo
julesG Truly sad! 4w
TheAromaofBooks This cover is cracking me up. I don't mind eating alone at all, and have many, many times, but somehow this cover makes it look as though there should be a man playing a sad violin song over your shoulder as you sip your wine, thinking of what could have been. 4w
julesG @TheAromaofBooks 👍😁😁 4w
