I have this on a shelf in my office at work dubbed as a shame shelf. I pulled it from the library collection because of its age, but also look at the #sadcover ! There is no shame in cooking and eating alone - I do this every day! - but the cover just makes you feel so miserable. Not #uglycovers , but I couldn‘t resist posting.

gradcat I agree, it‘s sort of sad. I eat alone a lot too, so my thought is, why not put a body in that chair? 🤷🏽♀️ 6y

TheAromaofBooks This cover is cracking me up. I don't mind eating alone at all, and have many, many times, but somehow this cover makes it look as though there should be a man playing a sad violin song over your shoulder as you sip your wine, thinking of what could have been. 6y
