Delightful, unexpected and so beautifully written! The lovely little book about the quest to find the origin of a family rose was so much fun and made me feel like I was on the adventure with him. A book with color illustrations & typesetting is such a little luxury. This is a memoir about the pursuit of the story behind some old European roses...and the art is ridiculously charming. it's priced the same as any other hardcover, which makes me wonder: why can't every book look like this?
