This slow, meandering cozy mystery reminded me of gentle walks along the New England coastline. Set in a fictional small Massachusetts town, this first in the Seaside Knitters series introduced quite a lot of characters and a seaside village with a murder on its hands. I loved the camaraderie between the four friends who work together (and knit) to solve the crime. Not a typical cozy - the pace is very slow - but a good read. #19822022 #2008

I love mysteries, I knit, and I live in Massachusetts, so I wanted to love this book. At least I didn't hate it, but I didn't love it.
