pickHome with a cold and I just flew through this book. Tippy is still getting over the loss of her dad when her mum goes away & her uncle & his boyfriend move in to babysit bringing their big personalities to a small town near Dunedin. (Ie near a place I have lived - I had no idea it was set here!) it‘s a murder mystery with lots of swears and sequins. And there‘s a spooky old abandoned hospital which I think might be modelled on the one above! ⬇️
Centique Loved it! A little too gruesome to be a “cosy” but heaps of fun, great characters and some sass and push back against racism and homophobia. 11mo
