Hi @veritysalter @Powered_By_Plants @Mrs.B the book arrived today but I've discovered a slight problem. I've been annotating with a red pen & pink highlighter but Kelly is also using a pink highlighter. I'm going to just underline with the red pen from now on but wanted to give advanced warning!

Mrs_B Thanks for the heads up! Bedlam arrived today, I‘m looking forward to it! @veritysalter have either of you heard from Kelly? She doesn‘t seem to have been on Litsy in a while. I‘m a bit worried. I‘ve dropped her an email but haven‘t had a reply yet. 3y

This tackles so many massive issues head on & in such a positive way. As a YA book, it made me consider and question the level of responsibility YA authors have for their target audience. I tried to imagine how much this book would have meant to me if I was reading it as a young woman today (a great deal) and, if I were the mother of a young woman, how terrified, but fundamentally delight I would be if they read it too.
