"Light After Dark is a welcome return to the island. We get real life family issues as well as believable characters and the must have - Happily Ever After." --Lisa at Comfy Chair Reviews Mallory Vaughn is at a crossroads in her life. A year after learning that Big Mac McCarthy is her father, she's spending more and more time on Gansett Island, surrounded by the large and boisterous McCarthy family. When she's laid off from her longtime job, Mallory goes to visit her family on Gansett and tries to figure out the next chapter. An unexpected job offer will have her packing up her home in Providence to move to the island for at least the summer, if not longer. She decides to make this the "Summer of Mallory," full of new adventures, new people and new opportunities. Will a new love also be part of the Summer of Mallory? Anything is possible on Gansett Island, especially true love. Take the ferry back to Gansett to catch up with the McCarthy family and their friends. Be on hand as Laura and Owen welcome their twins and the family comes back together for another summer of love and adventure on Gansett Island.

Finished in the wee hours when I couldn‘t sleep. I work nights tonight—here‘s hoping the elevators are back to working order today. Yesterday was rough. Also book 21/30 for #bfcr2 Mallory and Quinn meet and have to overcome some challenges. Quinn lost a leg in the army and Mallory is still dealing with anger issues. Both have an alcohol problem. Dan and Kara get hitched. I‘ve enjoyed my trip to Gansett and still have a few to go but 👇

CocoReads I‘m taking a break. I‘ve got library books coming due and book group is Sunday and I haven‘t even started that one. 🤣🤣 @wanderinglynn #TeamFlow @julesG @imabusybee @LibrarianJen @laurenslibrary @Moony @Reecaspieces @britt_brooke 5y
julesG Fingers crossed. 5y
CocoReads @JulesG it‘s short and I read it many moons ago but really don‘t remember anything so I think once I start it should come back to me. 🤞 5y

wanderinglynn Way to go! 👍🏻 And I hope your building‘s elevators are working! 5y
CocoReads Thanks @wanderinglynn me too. It‘s hard to do my job without them. Easy enough, if tiresome, to run one or two things to a different floor but harder when you‘ve got a big fill to do and you‘ve got a cart full of fluids and drugs to deliver. 5y
imabusybee Awesome job 👏🏻 book goals are on point !! Hope the elevator is up and running instead of you 🤞🤞 5y
