bit of a weekend. got to see the play the day before it closed and got to visit the bookstore one last time before it goes into storage for a little bit.
I grabbed some (hopefully helpful) goodies, as one of my resolutions is to get back in touch with my writing.
fun fact: before I switched to accounting, I was a creative writing major! big change but i wasn‘t happy writing for a grade.
I think I‘ll stay keepin my theatre minor though.

Living in NYC has its benefits. Incredible performances by three seasoned professional actors. Design is 🔥. Show closes Saturday, so we got in under the wire.

I met Daniel Radcliffe, he signed my playbill. My life is made.
Went to see this show last night and it was fantastic! Hilarious, intense, though-provoking and timely. After, Daniel Radcliffe came out and graciously signed autographs and took selfies for about half an hour. My pics were not great because it was dark and the crowd was crazy but I did get my playbill signed!
pickThis book documents the fact-checking process of an essay by John D'Agata. John's defense for his wording reminds me of O'Brien's argument in The Things They Carried that facts are more true when embellished just enough to elicit the appropriate emotional response. Super interesting read.
