julesG Your #2 is interesting. What qualifies as high quality dihydrogenoxide? 5y
monalyisha @julesG I think it‘s a quote from The Waterboy with Adam Sandler! 😆 Great/wonderfully stupid movie (also starring The Fonz and wild & witchy Fairuza Balk). 😉 5y
julesG @monalyisha Aaaah! Didn't come across in the translated/dubbed version. I should definitely re-watch some of the "classics" in the OV 5y
TaylorMay @julesG @monalyisha is right! It is from The Waterboy lol. But usually nothing can beat some fresh ice water. 5y
julesG H2O is the best 5y

The premise was super intriguing and it was fairly fast paced which kept me wanting to keep reading, and I actually enjoyed the "murder mystery" element but it just didn't have the umpfh I wanted it to have. I do want to continue with book 2 but not right now I think I will knock out some other books that are high on my TBR and then come back to it. 3-3.25/5 ⭐️

MrBook They can't all be winners 😕. Great review! 7y

Loved the historical feel and the strong female characters. They mystery kept me reading. Ending kinda fell flat for me. I hope to read book 2 to see if I like that better.
