The detective with daunting past, the Romance, the red herring, close quarters (Steak outs) Then unlikely victim, which ends badly. The alibi and they really outsmarted the criminal. Who knew? But I really wanted to know why he did it. 😕
pickFinally finished this one. A detective searching for a seriel killer. Even though we, the reader, knew who the killer was as we see his point of view, the ending still took me by surprise. pickIt's a re-read but still, way to leave us hanging! I didn't like this one as much but I love me some Lucas so I'll keep reading (and re-reading--I think I left off somewhere around #15) until I'm caught up.
