Mehso-so

This was an alright first book in a series it does get a bit wordy and boring at times. I liked the magic system, I liked that there was consequences for the use of magic. The characters were a bit bland but I did love King Orden, not Gaborn his son but the actual King himself since he actually got to stick around for the book. The women descriptions could use a re-haul though, I don‘t need to know if they have perky boobs or not.

So after my meltdown in relation to the #24in48 challenge I decided to hit up Dimple books and check our their retirement sale. I snagged books 1-5 of The Runelords all 40% of their sticker prices, they are in very good condition for being used and I‘m excited to start them. Anyone read them? What do you think of it if you have?

atla I read these all in high school - so not sure how I‘d like them now - but I adored them then! Thanks for bringing back a happy memory ☺️ 5y
BookmarkTavern You know, I am 75% sure I read Wizardborn when I was in middle school, but I could not, for the life of me, tell you what it was about. I think I should try and find this series. 5y

Massive book unhaul. 700 books is a bit much and honestly, some of these I have no interest in reading anymore and some I‘m content with having just as ebooks.

CouronneDhiver Garage sale? 6y
KtheBookwyrm @CouronneDhiver I‘ll probably see if anyone I know wants any of them and then take what‘s left to half price books. 6y
