so-soThis was an alright first book in a series it does get a bit wordy and boring at times. I liked the magic system, I liked that there was consequences for the use of magic. The characters were a bit bland but I did love King Orden, not Gaborn his son but the actual King himself since he actually got to stick around for the book. The women descriptions could use a re-haul though, I don‘t need to know if they have perky boobs or not.
So after my meltdown in relation to the #24in48 challenge I decided to hit up Dimple books and check our their retirement sale. I snagged books 1-5 of The Runelords all 40% of their sticker prices, they are in very good condition for being used and I‘m excited to start them. Anyone read them? What do you think of it if you have?
