First Mark Billingham I have picked up in a while and I was not disappointed. Clever app lot and lovely to read about Tom Thorne again

Another great read! This kept me engaged and I enjoyed the storyline and the development of the characters, although the plot twists weren‘t as surprising as others I‘ve read recently. Mark Billingham‘s style reminds me a bit of Peter James - great storylines and real page turners, just don‘t expect anything too profound! 3.5/5 😊

Next on my list of books that are truly keeping me sane during this recovery process! I really need to read a different genre at some point though....😂

Loved spending the day with Tom Thorne 😁 this was excellent. Completely engrossing storyline with an evil twisted villain character - great stuff!

Today‘s read, amongst the thousands on my kindle and a physical stack of hundreds I couldn‘t decide what to read so downloaded another book.....

Another brilliant book in the Tom Thorne series ❤
I thought it was a really good story. It was quite different, Billingham has a twisted imagination. I just loved the usual banter between Thorne and Hendricks aswell

So excited to read the latest Tom Thorne book 📖 Definitely my first book for June👍🏻

The 16th in Mark Billingham‘s DI TOM THORNE SERIES has a bit of a treading water feel to it as Thorne and DI Nicola Tanner deal with the fallout from THE KILLING HABIT and Thorne deals with the breakup of his relationship with Helen. Unfortunately I didn‘t believe what happened between Sarah and Conrad or what it is about Conrad that makes him so irresistible to women so while I did keep turning the pages, this isn‘t really vintage Thorne.
