Fun cozy mystery that takes place over Thanksgiving weekend. Lots of delicious food. The mystery aspect was fine, but what I really loved were the characters and setting. I‘ll definitely continue with the series. 🦃🍄🟫🐱🍁

A cute cozy mystery. Has everything cozies have from an amuter sleuth, no gory murder, fun cat and dog characters, a red herring set in a small town. It's set in Alexandria, Virginia's charming Old Town neighborhood. Sophia Winston is the MC. She's an entertaining guru that is in a cooking contest when a murder happens. 4⭐️

Listened to the audiobook for #SeasonalCozies & I‘ll give it a soft pick for the food & the fact it‘s centered around a contest for my favorite Thanksgiving dish of stuffing. I enjoyed the characters, but it got pretty crazy at the end & not at all believable even for a cozy. If there was a hard way to do something or a way that really made no sense, the MC & even the police did it. I also forgot it was written in ⬇️
This one is first in a series (A Domestic Diva Mystery), set in November/Thanksgiving time & the audiobook is free with Audible Originals so it will be my #SeasonalCozies pick for November. 🦃🍂
This cozy mystery was so crazy - eccentric characters, bizarre situations, and some pretty unbelievable moments. Yet, a good way to suspend belief and escape reality for awhile. Lots of characters in this one, and I think some of the situations in this novel definitely fall into the #BumblingDetective category. Fast read, and I may try the next in the series at some point. #BBRC #Adult
Working on my 2021 planner. This is the only planner I've ever stuck with for a whole year! Of course I only use it for bookish plans.
This was a fun listen, and I'm looking forward to continuing the series. There were those eye-rolling moments and conversations with characters designed to get your goat, but overall I enjoyed the story and the mystery.
