Love this series!!! Strong female protagonist with some serious flaws.

This is the 2nd book in the Detective Jude Fontaine series. I am so glad I happened upon this author! These books are so good - if you‘re a fan of crime novels, you need to check Anne Frasier out. The right mixture of suspense and reveal, with continued character development of Jude and the people in her life. I found the manner of murder in this book to be more brutal than the last, so if blood and gore aren‘t your thing, be warned. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

In my favorite reading spot on this cool, cloudy morning. This setting, with a breeze and the birds chirping, is at odds with the brutality in this book. ❤️📚☕️

Jumping right into the second book in this series, after finishing the first one today. I love binge reading series! Even better - the three books in this series are all on Kindle Unlimited! ❤️📚

Love this book! It was a great follow up to the first one. Jude is a fabulous protagonist.

I read The Body Reader two years ago and loved it. Jude is a complex character that has been through unspeakable events. This book gives us more insight into her relationship with her partner, Uriah, which I adore. They are investigating a brutal set or murders that are killing in the Fibonacci sequence. The murders grow in numbers and brutality. I do think if you are interested you should start with The Body Reader.
