pickI adored this book! The chemistry between Jake and Chelsea was vibrant and fun. Also, there were so many heartwarming moments in this story that I lost count. Those kids will steal anybody's heart! I'm definitely going to read the last one in this trilogy!
pickLight, easy contemporary romance. Told from the male perspective, which is refreshing.
pickI fell in love with the kids in this book! When our protagonist Jake meets the attractive young guardian of a boy he's run into, sparks fly. But the kid's five siblings are also part of the appeal, surprising our commitment-phobic hero.

pickOut of town for work and this was a great diversion. This continues the series started with "Overruled" based on the love lives of four lawyers who are colleagues and friends. I liked this one better than the first book and already put the last one on hold through Overdrive.
I love Emma Chase and I'm excited to start reading the Legal Brief Series (which I received in today's mail). Her Tangled series and Royally Series are a perfect blend of comedy, romance and passion.

pickI devoured this book and these Filipino artisan chocolates as fast as I could, they were all delicious! Sustained was my intro to Emma Chase's writing and I really enjoyed it. Written from the hero's POV, it was really cute how he couldn't help falling in love with the heroine and the SIX KIDS she's responsible for. Fun (and funny), smart and sexy all rolled into one book. Looking forward to more from this author!

#BookandDinner! Roast chicken with roast veggies, and a #romantsy title that I bought when it was on sale. I saw it being recommended on Twitter and the premise is interesting.
pickNormally by 8pm, I've switched to my ereader because the lighting in my old Boston apartment is terrible. But I wanted to finish this book so badly that I suffered through my terrible eyesight to get to Jake & Chelsea's happily ever after.
I'd definitely classify it as a modern fairy tail with a hardened defense attorney finding a soft spot for a woman who suddenly becomes the guardian to her six nieces and nephews. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4 stars)
