This book was exactly what I needed - a quick, fluffy read wrapped in a cutesy cozy mystery narrative. There are supernatural elements to this - ghosts and psychic cats - so it‘s a little out there. I‘m giving it a pick for its ability to keep me hooked, despite quickly guessing the killer. I‘ve already checked out book two from the library...looking forward to getting back to Cookie Chanel and her vintage shop. Also, Book 1 for #14books14weeks .

I spent my day today weeding the adult collection at one of my library system‘s satellite branches. As I was going through the paperbacks, I came across this one and knew I HAD to check it out. The main character‘s name is Cookie Chanel...no joke! So, checked out and on my library book pile.

ferskner No but for some reason it ALWAYS comes up as #1 on my Goodreads TBR. I'm not sure what my sort settings are to cause that but it makes me laugh every time. 5y
