I recently stumbled across this author and have now read several of her books.
Goodreads blurb:
Everyone has secrets, and Rachel Holloway is no exception. She‘s worked hard to keep the past where it belongs: dead and buried. And so far, she‘s been very successful.
But now the small newspaper where she works wants to produce a podcast on a cold case: the disappearance twelve years ago of little Molly Forster.
#loveprevails #missingpersonday 🔻

JoScho Some secrets should never see the light of day, and as far as Rachel is concerned, whatever happened to little Molly is one of them. Rachel has a life now, a boyfriend she loves and a three-year-old daughter she adores, and she will do anything to protect them.
But to do that, no one can ever know that she is Molly Forster.

I really enjoyed this book, once you start reading the story starts to unfold and it's very clear what's going on. So you keep reading to find out the ending. Easy to read.

An audiobook review. Female narrator. This is a fabulous fun audiobook. I enjoyed it & zoomed through it in a day. Easy beach read. The book‘s premise ... a newspaper decides to stay in business by starting a podcast called Missing Molly in an effort to find Molly & solve her disappearance. Ten years earlier a family of 4, 3 killed, 1 escaped, an assumed name. Someone involved with the podcast is Molly. Is it safe for her to come clean? ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is a good suspenseful story, though I can‘t help but feel the main character could fix it all by just telling people the truth! 🤷🏻‍♀️ #audiorunning #audiorun

Saw the audibook was popular on Hoopla. Worth the hype, yo. Finished in two days. Made chores fun, so I had excuse to listen.

Quite pleasantly surprised with this one. A unique plot, appropriate pacing, spot on cultural references (the podcast “Serial” serves as an impetus to the overall conflict), and enough predictability in character development to identify the roles but not so much that it induced eye-rolling. An overall effectively orchestrated psychological thriller. The last few chapters kept me on the edge! 4/5 ⭐️ #crime #thriller #audiobook

cathysaid @Trashcanman Every-time I see your bunny-eared face I hear “George!” in a Cheers (think “Nooooorrrm!”) kind of way. 👏👏👏 5y
Trashcanman @cathysaid lol Ha! Norm was my fav. I've had people think worse of me than that, so I'll gladly take it. How are ya? 5y
cathysaid @Trashcanman Taking each day as it is, right? As the wise sage Steven Tyler said, “Some days you‘re the bug; some days you‘re the windshield.” But overall, I‘m good. You? 5y
