Another book down in this series and for #CozyintheSun! This one involves a community theater production and of course the local librarian is on the case. I like how she uses her research skills. Another thing I like about this series, and most cozies, is how everyone knows everyone! The relationship drama in this one annoyed me a little, but it was ok. I‘ve already read the next in the series so I‘m jumping to book six.

TEArificbooks I just was looking at this series yesterday 4y
MallenNC @mdm139 I like it! I read some of the later books out of order, and that was ok but it‘s probably better to start from the top! 4y
ferskner Yeah librarians!!!!!! 4y
MallenNC @Librarybelle @ferskner Librarians are great cozy mystery MCs because it makes sense to me that they‘d be able to solve crimes with their professional skills. (edited) 4y

4.5 ⭐️ Great book but it took its time to catch up to speed in the events of the book. However, once it got climatic, I couldn‘t put it down ! First book finished in my new home 🏡 💙My reading corner isn‘t completely finished, but I love my view into my new living room! It‘s all coming together!

The past couple days have apparently been VERY busy at the library, since I've had to put 40(!!!) new books on my displays today (since Wednesday afternoon). Higher numbers are a good thing 😁👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻! I've added these to my General #CozyMysteries display.

Have you read any of them?

Malfunctioning washer means waiting at laundromat... With a book!
But this title is just so so 😵😧😵 it's due early next week, so I will read as much as I can. Otherwise will (re)borrow another time to complete this

Tamra Love laundromats for that reason, plus laundry ALL gets done in an short time, vs. all day at home. 😏 7y
BookishMe @Tamra first time using a laundromat as I grew up with a washing machine as an essential. Towards the end, I realized I could have brought work as well. There was a table and comfortable stool. Definitely to be used in the future ;)) I still prefer the warm sunshine trapped in the clothes, dried on poles. 7y
Tamra @BookishMe totally get it! 🌞 During our long summer trip, I always swear I'll come home & use laundromat since it's faster, (family of 4) but then life intervenes. 😆 I definitely do my work there too bc often they offer wifi. 7y

LauraBeth I miss my NYC days spent reading in the laundromat! Then I met my husband and he always wanted to come with me 🙀 and talk! 7y
BookishMe @Tamra wow! Wi-Fi too... I believe local laundromats are still behind that curve ;p 7y
BookishMe @LauraBeth you know he's a keeper when he always wants to chat with you ;D lovely memories 7y

Sometimes what you need is a cozy crime novel. Still working on which English actor Robbie might be based on...
