so-soI expected this to be as delightful as the cover, sadly it was not.
Honestly, it was me and not the quality of the collection. My impression is winter in the UK is generally more akin to early spring in the upper Midwest of the US, so it was difficult for me to relate to as a seasonal nature read.
Caveat, 23/24 “winter” will go down as the winter that wasn‘t.
quietlycuriouskate I'm not sure we actually get Winter here anymore. I'm on the northern edge of the West Country and what passes for Winter is more like several months of November: rain, some wind, lots of leaden-grey nothing-doing. 2mo
