I ended up really liking this book. It's like if the crew from Firefly was a little more hardcore/serious. Pirate stories are the best 😎

A motley space crew each with their own secrets battling old friends and foes alike as they try to clear their names after taking the fall for a crime they didn't mean to commit. With an essence of Firefly, Retribution Falls was quite the enjoyable ride. This has a little more fantasy element to it than your regular space opera but it just added another fun layer. Highly looking forward to the next installment!

This steampunk rocks!

Steampunk can be a little tough for me to get into sometimes, as too many clunky descriptions on how the technology works can make my eyes glaze over. But that‘s not the case with this adventure novel. Focusing on a charismatic group of dashing rogues armed with their sharp swords and even sharper wits, this exciting novel is sometimes funny, sometimes poignant, and always entertaining! Highly recommended!

I'm in a bit of a reading slump right now. I just can't get motivated to read anything. When this happens I usually turn to old favorites.

And this is definitely an old favorite. If you are a steampunk fan or a fan of the TV show Firefly...this is definitely a book you should check out!

Its wicked fun and I highly recommend!

I still didn't get any non fiction in this month, I read significantly less and I think I'm a little behind on the #PopsugarReadingChallenge 😔

Excellent writing as expected from Wooding. With hilarious and well developed characters. And an excellent plot with good pacing and a perfect steampunk setting. I absolutely love this series.

Fave adventure series! It was first described to me as a steampunk mash-up of Firefly & Pirates of the Caribbean - not a perfectly accurate description but it's close enough. SO fun.
