I enjoyed this little collection of poems. They were easy to read and understand... accessible to people (like me) who don't know much about poetry. The structures were simple, but varied enough to keep it all interesting.

There was a lot of poetry about love and wine, which suspect were probably a little bit taboo in medieval Persia, so that was pretty fascinating too.

🌟🌟🌟/5. As much as I enjoy Hafez's poetry, this collection wasn't exactly my cuppa tea. I mean he's drunk through out half the collection talking about wine.
