I loved this story about a bisexual football player on house arrest and his hipster personal assistant. The characters in this story totally took me by surprise. The chemistry is intense! This story covers many of the controversial topics about football as well. Excellent!

Re-reading an M/M football (!) romance when I should be grading. Naughty teacher!

Forced proximity #romantsy between a closeted bisexual football player with anger management issues & his Clark Kent lookalike assistant. Totally a Beauty & the Beast story with recognition of the power differential & the difficulties of a relationship in light of profession & society. The story is told in dual 1st person POV which maybe my new jam. 🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈 I LOVED it.

Ended up finishing this on audio- nice break for my eyes, but now back to print! Just about half way through #24in48 :) @24in48

I'm fully on board this Santino Hassell bandwagon. This was hot and sexy, does the enemies-to-lovers trope well, has a bisexual MC. I also loved some of the secondary characters and also deals with topics such as poverty, the foster system, racism and anti-queer bigotry in the NFL. Also this was my first time doing a romance on audio and oof did it make me blush.

Off to stretch my legs for a bit, and then will pick my next read.

I loved the characters. This is absolutely the kind of book I love! Intense at some parts but tempering that with moments of humour. The chemistry between the characters also felt real and not forced, as is the case with some books. Can't wait to read Book 2 of the series!

Yes! I finished Carry On yesterday and Illegal Contact today. Both so good. All the feels and tasty as your fave cake.

In addition to finishing these books, I managed to faint from heat exhaustion after locking myself out of my house and proceeded to hit my head and then get an IV bag of fluids at the doctor's. Go figure. #romantsy

I like how the characters don't just hook up, and then everything works out perfectly. They're mature about the facts and know their actions have consequences. The storyline feels realistic. I understood and felt all the emotions with Gavin and Noah. I stayed up late to finish this one. Adored this book and its characters. Gruff, smartass football player falls for his Clark Kent looking personal assistant. Great chemistry and nice slow burn to their explosive but also sweet relationship. Highly recommend.

I read this book over a week ago and it still hasn't left my mind. It's definitely one of my favorite romance reads of the year. This m/m sports romance will knock you off your feet and one of the main characters, Gavin, is such a grumpy soft boy. I love this bisexual king.
