This audiobook is very funny.
An accidental kiss in the dark leads to a failed audition. Pair this with a lease that's not renewed and a hunk who needs a pet-sitter and you do have a #sizzling #romance / #romcom.

Overnight-Oats gone. No more milk for the decaf black tea. No caffeine for the steroid junky! (My second breakfast has already been packed, a yummy 500ml bottle of saline and a side of 1000mg steroids. Yeah!)

Started yet another book and knitting project. I might need an intervention! For the starting of knitting projects, not the #audiobooks.

JenP I wish I could knit. I know how to crochet but can't knit anything more complicated that a basic knit stitch 7y

julesG @LeahBergen I'll keep this in mind when I have to start the second cuff and my perfectionism kicks in. 7y

julesG @JenP You could crochet wrist warmers or socks. I know I have some patterns somewhere. Plus, you can knit an awful lot of stuff with the basic knit stitch, but I know, it's not for everyone. I can crochet but prefer knitting; my crochet blanket is 1/3 done, after 2 years of working on it. 🙈 7y

I'm still stress-bingeing romance and was on the lookout for a well-written, banter-y, funny, sexy contemporary. For some reason, Helen Hunting was on my mental do-not-buy list but this title has been shoved in my face by Amazon since it's release and the premise sounded like me and I was getting desperate so I one-clicked. I'm so glad I did. It checked all my boxes and I especially loved how the relationship grew through long distant friendship.

Dogearedcopy @MarriedtoMrT LOL, I did the Bane thing to a guy once: I had a first date with a really hot guy. I was coming down with something so I ended up ingesting copious amounts of cold & flu meds while standing in the shower chugging a half gallon of OJ! It seemed to have worked and we had a great time... Problem was, less than 12 hours after the date ended, I crashed *really* sick and none of the meds worked! 7y

I liked this one a lot. I stopped reading her Pucked series because the humor felt immature and too much for me. But the humor in this one had a nice balance. Fun characters. I liked how the hero and heroine's relationship develops. I really hope the best friend gets a book and it's not with her current fiance. This one comes out May 30th.

Just finished an ARC of Sarah MacLean's June book - The Day of the Duchess. It was everything I hoped it would be. Aiming to do a review closer to pub date. Now onto another ARC. I have mixed reactions to Helena Hunting's writing, mostly how she does humor. Interested to see what she does with a new series.
